Units Involved: EMCO supplied a co-current regenerated demineralizer system consisting of two trains each having a cation, an anion, a mixed bed, and an ultrafiltration unit for polishing of colloidal silica. Each train produces 150,000.00 gallons between regeneration @ 125.00 gpm.
Effluent water quality from this plant is silica < 0.010 ppm and conductivity is <0.10 μohms.
EMCO also supplied the pre-treatment multi-media filters, carbon filters, acid/caustic pumps and mixing stations, neutralization systems and plc-based control system.
