Units Involved: Each demineralizer system consists of one cation and one anion exchanger. Both exchangers are regenerated counter-currently with an air dome blocking method.
The system is controlled with an Allen Bradley PLC, with a panel view video display terminal to act as a Man-Machine Interface (MMI). The MMI system has been pre-programmed at the factory with a graphic screen for every step of the demineralizer operation. An Allen Bradley data highway shall interface the plc system with the plant DCS.
